Mission Statement:

OAPS Athletics is committed to achieving athletic excellence while maintaining the educational objectives of Olney Adventist Preparatory School. We offer a personalized approach to meet each student-athlete's unique skill level and educational needs, emphasizing both team and individual sports development. The program focuses on the holistic development of students, including academic, social, emotional, and physical dimensions, and promotes character-building values such as self-respect, teamwork, resilience, and integrity among all participants. While winning is not the sole focus, OAPS Athletics believes that student-athlete commitment to excellence naturally leads to success.

The OAPS Athletics program aims to lead by example in interscholastic athletics, showing that championship-level sports experiences and a dedication to academic excellence can go hand in hand. Both the student-athletes and coaches at OAPS will embrace their role as community leaders, uphold their responsibilities as representatives of the Conference, and consistently uphold the highest ethical standards in their conduct.
