The Race to 64!

Today we played a car racing game that is similar to Parcheesi. We played in teams and the goal of the game was to reach 64 first. None of us has ever played Parcheesi so the rules were new to the club and the coaches. The math today involved number recognition, addition, subtraction, place value, and multiples of 8.

The car racing game was challenging so if this wasn't your child's favorite meeting, please let him/her know that next week's meeting will be completely different. Next week's meeting is called "Funny Money" and we will be dealing with money and "buying" prizes.
