Math Wars - Crazy 8s Style

Today was the last week of this 8-week session of Crazy 8s (K-2nd). We had fun tossing bouncy dice, played "War" with dice, and human bingo. It was great to see how quickly the kindergarten students got into the game of "War" and how some of the second grade students challenged themselves by subtracting instead of adding. The math today involved counting, addition, subtraction, frequency, and strategic thinking. Each student got to take home a pair of dice.

It has been great leading the club and getting to know your children. They are a fun and loud group! We will miss the kids who will not be returning next session, but we're glad that most of the students will be returning. The next session begins the Monday after Thanksgiving break.
