Catapulting Math Fun
Today we made marshmallow catapults and used two different sized fulcrums to see how far our marshmallows would fly. The math involved distance measurement, maximum, and minimum. The students kept their catapults so that they continue the fun at home.
Next week we will meet in the gym and will make zip lines. Please have your child bring a small animal friend no bigger than a beanie baby. I will bring plenty of stuffed animals in case a student forgets to bring one. This meeting will be challenging and I would appreciate additional help.
