First Time Going Crazy!

Our club got off to a great start. Today, we did glow-in-the-dark geometry with glow sticks. We made many different polygons, but everyone's favorite shape was the circle. The math for this meeting involved 2-D geometric shapes, counting, area, and pattern recognition. The students got to take home glow sticks to continue the fun at home.

Mrs. S. coached the club with me today and I'm very grateful for her willingness to help coach Crazy 8s. Next Monday we will be exploring math through music!
