OUR FAITH
We are a Bible-based Christian community that holds the teachings of Scripture
dearer than human creeds and traditions. We believe that Jesus Christ is the
only way of salvation (John 14:6, Acts 4:12) and that the highest goal of education
is to prepare students not just for this present life, but also for eternity.
Hence, our goal is to instruct children from a biblical perspective and to encourage
them in developing a personal relationship with Jesus. We strive to instill
in our students a love for God and His Word, a desire to learn more about His
world, and a spirit of service.

have received teaching from the Bible and have grown in our
relationship with Jesus because of the Christian witness and
example of the school community."

The Seventh-day Adventist Church traces its roots to the 1840s with a group
of Christians searching for a better understanding of biblical prophecy. They
rediscovered the seventh-day Sabbath as Saturday, the day ordained by God at
Creation and observed by God's people in both the Old Testament and New Testament
eras. Following the example of Jesus, His disciples, and the Early Church, Adventists
recognize and observe Saturday as the Bible Sabbath - a day of rest from work
and school and a day to worship God.
In 1863, this group of Sabbath-keepers who anticipated the soon advent
of Jesus Christ officially organized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The name, "Seventh-day Adventist" reflects two key doctrines of the church.
The above paragraph addresses the "Seventh-day" part of our name. "Adventist" refers
to our confidence and hope in the soon return of Jesus Christ.
The newly formed denomination of members worshipping in 125 churches across
North America grew quickly. It has since expanded to include over 14 million
Adventist Christians (baptized adults) in nearly 120 thousand congregations
officially recognized in 203 countries worldwide. With a strong value for
Christian education, the Adventist Church operates over five thousand schools
from the primary level to the graduate level. The Seventh-day Adventist Church
also has strong emphasis on health and healing reflected by the number of
hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions it operates. In addition to all
this, Adventists reach out to meet the needs of others through the denomination's
humanitarian organizations.
